Our Mission is to financially assist high school seniors, high school graduates, and current undergraduate students who wish to pursue a STEM (science, technology, engineering or math) degree in the United States.

Recipients of the Gladys Carol Scholarship must be pursuing a science, technology, engineering or math degree, have demonstrated extraordinary academic excellence, possess a strong sense of civic duty, and believe their education is no ones responsibility but their own. 

The Gladys Carol Scholarship Program, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit charity organization funded only through the generosity of our donors.

All donations are tax deductible.

100% of all donations go directly toward our scholarships. Our officers and staff take no salary or other compensation, and all of our overhead is paid for by our officers.

About Gladys Carol

Gladys Carol Best is a first generation American, born in Cleveland, Ohio to German immigrants. She is a woman with extraordinary intelligence, and if she had the opportunity to attend college, there is little doubt she would have found a cure for a dreadful disease or be running a fortune 500 company today. Instead, Gladys did what most young ladies of her generation did when they graduated from high school; she got married and had children, fortunately for them!

This Scholarship Program was established by Gladys' daughter, Cheryl as a way to pay forward her mom's sacrifice. Cheryl is eternally grateful to her mom & dad.
